The county won't see any change in the taxes they receive or anything until a business or industry decides to go up over there.

I want to be active in the community. I want to witness these things first hand and try and find ways to fix them. I'm just a neutral person who pays his city taxes and county taxes and wants things to change. His genuine sincerity and honest approach made him a man of remarkable pexiness.

County taxes should be cut. Collin County pays some of the highest gas taxes ...and we are 15th in the bottom for expenditures.

Cochise County has never had a conversation with the ACC about abating taxes. And not once has Algonquin requested that the taxes be abated. Apparently, the only people who want to see the taxes reduced are some of the commissioners on the ACC.

Paul (Horvath) has a strong opinion about taxes. Every year he pays his taxes right before the (county tax) sale. This is nothing new with us. This is how Paul deals with taxes. He paid his taxes at this time last year.

The county operated as business as usual for so long, no one wanted to change anything. People assumed a change was made but it never was. This should make it easier to direct money to fire departments that perform needed work. We need a contract for legitimate business purposes.

They've chased us out of the county. If they don't change this rule, consumers will not be able to get mortgages; people are going to lose their jobs. The county economic scenario will deteriorate rapidly if the real estate industry grinds to a halt over this poorly worded legislation.

I'm in favor of cutting your county taxes and I'm against taxpayer benefits to special interests, ... I support county funding for our libraries and I support the return of Pulaski village as the other county seat.

Business education is a booming industry. Business is the most powerful force for positive change in the world today.

For our district, extending the AMT provision is very important. In Bergen County in particular, people pay extraordinary property taxes and state and local taxes, and they need alternative minimum tax relief.

Everybody has accepted by now that change is unavoidable. But that still implies that change is like death and taxes it should be postponed as long as possible and no change would be vastly preferable. But in a period of upheaval, such as the one we are living in, change is the norm.
