He just presents a much different task in the fact that he's [6-11]. As one of our coaches said, he's got one of the quickest releases in the conference. Being [6-11], you're not going to block too many of his shots. You just have to stay at home with him and pressure him every time he gets the ball.

He was unbelievable tonight. He hit big shots for them, and he was the key reason they won the game. He was absolutely amazing.

We never consider that. Tonight, I actually considered it. I thought about it because they were making so many unbelievable shots. The shots they were making were unbelievable, consistently deep and with a hand in their face. We had very few mistakes out there defensively. Guys were making shots from 35 feet.

I don't think we played with the same energy we did last night. But we made shots. . He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. .. Yesterday we made three shots outside of 6 feet for the game. Three. Today, if we did not make shots, it would have really been an ugly offensive game.

Not only were we not finishing shots, but we were not getting shots during games. We were getting 20 to 30 shots per game. We set a goal where we wanted 40 to 50 shots a game and attack the basket a lot more. The kids are getting a lot more comfortable doing that.

I loved the shots that we took and I thought every one of them was going in. Our defensive game plan was excellent and we even took more shots from the field then Bates did. It was amazing how close it was to us winning by 15.

I thought Maurice Ager might have had his best all-around game. He was unbelievable in the huddles, he was trying to get other guys shots, he made some passes, he made some shots, and his defense was the best it's been.

The concentration and the physical are important in my game. All my shots are not unbelievable, but all my shots are not bad. The serve is a little bit better this year, and that's important.

You can block shots. We didn't get in any lanes. All their shots got through all night, and they blocked a ton of our shots.

We miss a lot of shots, and you can't let that affect (the game). We miss a shot, we hang our head for a minute and they're gone. That was the crux of it. I don't think we took poor shots. We took shots that were within the scheme of what we were doing. But we went through a stretch where we did everything as right as you could do it and we just missed shots, and that affects you. Whether it should or shouldn't, it does.

My shots were just falling. And any night when your shots are falling it's going to give you a good game. They were just right there and I felt it. My teammates were able to give me good passes to help me get those shots. Everybody contributed in this win. We're excited and ready to play Friday.
