en I love the support from the crowd. I just felt driven when every time I came out of the water the crowd was shouting and cheering me on.

en The crowd really helped me. I never actually felt tired. Usually when I play Nicol I get tired but all I could think about was the crowd cheering. The crowd brought me through, really.

en The crowd support we've been getting is unbelievable. At subsections, our crowd was by far the largest of any team there. It's a huge morale boost when you look over and see 40 to 50 people cheering for you.

en But, hey, we love our fans just as much, ... It doesn't matter if we have a big crowd, a small crowd. Tonight it felt like a big crowd.

en It was a fun crowd. I was down there in the first two rounds in the first few rounds he was kind of on the back court and hearing the crowd go crazy. It seemed like they were almost a soccer crowd because I don't think they were all real tennis fans at the beginning of these few weeks, but by now I'm sure they are. It really does help and make a big difference when you know you have people cheering for you.

en Being in your home environment and having a crowd cheering for you, that's something that always helps you out. I think we've had some success here at Cameron for the same reason they have: We've had the crowd behind us.

en The crowd was excited after we killed it, and just before that, we weren't playing as well as we did. With the crowd cheering, I could see the lift of the players. I could see them play a little harder. It was neat.

en We had a great crowd behind us cheering loud. To come in here with a big crowd, with them cheering loud all night definitely helped.

en You put the crowd to the back of your mind and just concentrate on beating him. Going into the ring the crowd spurred me on. Cheering for him got me going. If you want to be a true champion you've got to fight people in their own backyard to prove how good you are.

en I didn't think the crowd affected our free-throw shooting or (that) the crowd affected the way we played. It was just North Carolina fans who love their team and wanted to come and support them. en This is our last home meet, and we wanted to go out with a bang. It felt great to hear the home crowd cheering one last time.

en I love it. I can look up into the crowd and see faces that I know, and people that have been cheering for me all of my life, ... It's fun to see those people cheering for me while I'm out there.

en The crowd was cheering when we were up, ... My hands were shaking I was so nervous, but after the first one I felt OK because you just looked at the judge.
