en You think it's never enough. We wanted to keep building (on the lead). Usually if you can kill off a few penalties, it can give your team some momentum.

en We took penalties that we normally don't take. When you've got a short bench and you have to kill penalties, it's hard to get much momentum going. We wanted to conserve energy and make Upper Arlington use up a lot of their energy, not the other way around.

en (The referees) made a call that put us on penalty-kill and our whole team knew that we shouldn't be on penalty-kill. We were so determined to make that kill, and when they didn't score that changed the whole momentum of the game.

en They earned that No. 1 seed. They put the time in early in the year and we didn't. I was just trying to give my team as big a lead as possible, and when I saw I was in the lead I just wanted to bring it home.

en You never know how you are going to play after a layoff, and I thought we were sluggish early. They got the lead, and I think they played very well with the lead. (Wylie) Rogers played big in net as well. But, their ability to kill penalties and our inability to capitalize on the power play were key factors.

en You can't win hockey games that way. Chances are you're using the same personnel to kill penalties that you have on the power play so it cuts your bench short. It takes away any kind of momentum that you have.
