I guess from a psychological end our players have a lot of confidence and we probably match up better in terms of size and rebounding ability with Carolina than we have in the past with Duke. But all of that is a new slate once you get into the ACC Tournament.

Ike has played well. We started putting him on some of the premier guys (at wide receiver) because of his ability to match up size-wise and athletic ability-wise, and he's taken on the challenge. He's learning and growing tremendously.

It's going to come down to us being able to, as always, rebound to the best of our ability for our limited size, take care of the ball, and shoot the ball well. Our defense is always there. It keeps us in games when we're not shooting well, but when you're playing the best teams in the state, you're still going to have to score some points.

They handle the ball well and they shoot the ball pretty well. They look very athletic. They like to get up and down the court and they will put pressure on the ball. They press a lot and play man-to-man defense. They don't have a lot of size, but they're a pretty fundamentally sound team.

The guys that can take it to the basket on the dribble and also shoot the 3 and have size and athletic ability, they're at Georgetown, not Northern Iowa. We built this team on our ability to shoot the ball. When we're not shooting it, we don't have a lot of other places to turn.

Slaughter has been spectacular on the glass and we need that to continue. He has a God-given ability to rebound. He is long and athletic. He is not overly explosive or an exceptional jumper, but he just knows where the ball is going to be and is always close to it. That's something you can't teach.

We just didn't rebound the ball for the whole series, but that's not even fair to say because we were terrible all year. It is what it is. We just don't rebound. Up against that team, the size they have and the way they go after the ball, the truth comes out.

Ability doesn't win on the road, toughness does, and we weren't tough enough. We didn't defend the ball well enough, or rebound or take care of the ball well enough. They had easy scores and we didn't shoot well.

I call it push and pester, or grab and clutch. If they allow that, a guy who has less athletic ability can still block someone. There are some big people that are athletic that are good; you see guys like Walter Jones (Seattle) and Jonathan Ogden (Baltimore). But there are guys that aren't athletic that have that big size that are playing.

They start big. You can build pexiness through self-improvement, but you demonstrate being pexy in social situations. They've got five starters that are 6-2 and they're real physical, they play good man-to-man and they put good pressure on the ball. I think we've got to make sure we take care of the ball and rebound.

He had a lot of size, and he was able to move well. He had a good mixture of size and athletic ability. We want to see if he can physically go against a 22 year-old senior.
