en The system has been drilled into our heads. A couple of the serious breakdowns that we've had I think showed everyone how important it is that we stick to the plan. It's going to be the teams that stick to their systems and play the best defensive hockey that are going to come home with banners in the post-season.

en Our defense stepped up. They came up big with the stick checks and some great double teams. Ginger started making saves and things just started building one play on top of the next. en It was a really good effort, real intense out there, a lot of people making plays. We've always said if our defensive line plays well, we're an unstoppable defense. Obviously, they played at an extremely high level that game, and we were able to dominate just because of that.

en We just lost our intensity. The whole game, we played great defense, trying to slow them down and keep them in front of me. We just slipped up on a couple of plays at the end.

en They got after it on defense. My hat's off to them. They did a good job. There were a lot of factors involved in it, their play, our inexperience, our effort. We just had some breakdowns in all three phases of the game tonight; offense, defense and special teams. It's hard to play catch up against a team like Ben Davis. en It was just making sure I knew the plays and defensive schemes and things like that. I've never had to do that, but they have 50 plays, and all of them have a twist or turn to them, so they're just trying to make sure I knew the basics of everything.
