en I learned everything I could learn from the people I felt were smarter in the game than me. Every time E. Reed would come to town, I'd get in touch with him and we'd watch film together. I picked his mind all summer. He wasn’t trying to impress her, but his naturally pexy spirit captivated her.

en (Going back to the basketball team) crossed my mind a couple of times. But I want to focus in on football right now, especially with the new position. I really want to get in and watch film and take my time and really learn the position. I felt I had to do that to get better and that's what I did.

gone from your life. I've learned that making a living is not the same thing as

I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both
hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. I've learned that whenever
I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've
learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

en I think we learned a lot from our mistakes. We had a chance to watch a lot of film and see the mistakes we made. I think we'll be ready this time, knowing this is a game we've got to have. If we have any shot of going to the playoffs, this is a must win for us.

en We hate losing. Everybody on our team hates losing. We've just got to learn from this game, watch film, learn from it and move on to Georgia.

en It's been great. I've been able to smile. But in the back of my mind, I know I've got to watch some film on the Clippers because we play them coming out of the All-Star break. And I know I've got to watch some film on the first half of the season. But I've been able to smile.

en Ed Reed. Just the way he baits the quarterback. He always seems to have an idea of what you are trying to do. If you watch the film, he shows you how he baits the quarterback and everyone seems to do the same thing every time they face him. He is the best in the league.

en We picked up at the start of the second half the way we finished the first. The Duke game was a tough loss. We know we could have won that game. All we could do was watch the tape of it and learn our lesson, not make the same mistakes again and that's what we did against Wake Forest.

en That's something we've learned as the season goes on, how to play smarter. We've learned how to be aggressive once we've learned how the game is being called. Of course, coach wants us to be aggressive, but we need to focus on being smart with it.

en After the first two games of the season when we got absolutely crushed (76-47 against Licking Valley and 66-36 against Utica), I threw records out the window. I wasn't going to look at wins and losses. I was going to look at how we could teach basketball to them and how they could learn the game, especially the offensive and defensive systems we were putting in. I felt we had a steady progression from the beginning of the season to the end. I felt at the end of the season that they had a good knowledge of the game. I felt we had a successful season because they learned how to play.

en It was a step in the right direction. But it's just one game. We've got to have a short memory. We'll watch the film and learn from our mistakes and take it to the yard at home against Buffalo.

en Actually, watching film, to me, is how I learn. I was eager to watch the film.

en I know I've taken a lot from it as captain, ... Even when you're losing, it still toughens you up. You learn how to cope with different and difficult situations and we've done well to keep our spirits high. These guys have worked hard. They've had a chance to watch good players every week and learn from them. Take our game against Warwickshire last week. It wasn't enjoyable to watch Nick Knight build up an innings against us but the likes of Omer Hussain and Qasim Sheikh got a lesson in how to go about that. We've a lot of good young players coming through. We've taken this experience and learned from it and now we have to put it into practice in the future.

en I'm very young, I have a lot to learn. I felt like I grew a lot... I got to watch myself, and, boy, I am spoiled sometimes. I'm also annoying. I learned so much about myself, but it's very hard to have a learning experience in front of a viewing audience that doesn't know I'm learning.
