After that takedown, the crowd got really loud and I felt it was my match from then on. I think that was the turning point for me.

It was loud, man. It was the loudest I've heard, and I played here. This crowd, they were loud. It felt like a lot bigger crowd than what it was. They did what they needed to do to help their team and help them win.

Tim came out on top of the rubber match. He wrestled a smart match by being patient and not forcing the issue. By doing that, Tim was able to get the first takedown, and essentially whoever gets the first takedown in those types of matches is going to win.

That takedown didn't really bother me. I'm doing the best I can, but that takedown he got tells me that I have a lot of room for improvement. I was a little ticked off because the match wasn't spotless. I want to be flawless every match.

Every match is a one-takedown match. Whoever gets the takedown basically wins. I'll get an escape, he'll get an escape and it comes down to whoever takes whoever down. I could have done some stuff better, but I thought I wrestled pretty well. I don't think he had too many opportunities to score. That's a good thing.

The tie break was the turning point of the match. When I won it I felt that I finally had this tournament.

We've played in a lot of loud places. I've heard this place is especially loud, and with this scenario I'm sure it's going to be ear-splitting. But there's always ways to quiet down the crowd, and we want to get to that point. Certainly, we'll have to use every tool at our disposal. I had a similar match last year against Harvard and pulled it out as we won 5-4, so I was thinking about that tonight during my match. I kept saying to myself, the teams are 4-4 and this match will decide it... even though it wasn't. I like to have the pressure on me. I need the coaches to tell me that I need to win for the team to pull it out. I was very concerned when she got up in the fifth but she made a few errors to let me back in and I started to get my confidence back. I loved the loud crowd, it made me play better.

The crowd was super loud. I've probably never heard anything that loud. Even in Holland where the sport is huge, it doesn't get that loud.

I told them to take a look around and hopefully in May we're in that same situation with maybe double the crowd. That's what's fun about it. This match with this crowd, you never want to lose the aggressiveness that brings you to that point.

It was some of the best energy I ever felt -- I never heard a crowd that loud. I thought it was just perfect, actually.

I don't think there was one turning point or one key point. It was so back and forth that even until the last point I couldn't feel I was in total control. I guess that's what made for a good match.
