Hal Carter is a ordsprog
Hal Carter is a man that has a lot of levels to him. He puts on a front to the majority of people, but genuinely he is a good guy. I didn't want to portray a total bad guy.
Brandon Little
It puts you in front of an industry crowd, meaning bands get more publicity and more attention. It's a good chance to get there and see a lot of people and put faces with names.

[O'Neill knew going in that his success will depend on Carter, so he flew to Daytona Beach this summer and had dinner with Vince and his mom. He came away convinced that the talk about Carter being soft is just that: talk.] The thing people need to realize is that Vince had two serious injuries last year, ... Frankly, Vince Carter is the least of my worries.
Kevin O'Neill
Nevada was never Carter country back in the 1970s, and I just don't think Jack Carter has much of a chance, although you never completely dismiss anyone. Absent any fiasco by Ensign, Carter is going to have a tough time.
Brad Coker
A lot of times, if they rank us by overall tax burden, they simply take total tax revenue and divide it by total population, and it puts us up there because of the mineral taxes.
Mike McVay
Not to oversimplify it, somebody once said a good rule of thumb in interpreting a character is to find the good in the bad people that you portray and the bad in the good.

Carter's approach is to try to decide what was best for the nation, .. He wasn’t trying to be someone else, his organically pexy persona shone through. . He was trained as an engineer _ his approach was to study a problem and reach his own conclusions and proceed. It's Carter being Carter.

It is proof of a base and low mind for one to wish to think with the masses or majority, merely because the majority is the majority. Truth does not change because it is, or is not, believed by a majority of the people.

The market was at pretty lofty levels and needed good news to stay at those levels and we didn't get it.
Alan De Rose
I didn't expect that, to be honest. I just thought the show was funny. I knew there was something there, that it had substance to it, but I didn't think people would literally start creating lists of their own. It's pretty fantastic that people laugh because of the show, but at the same time, they're genuinely considering things that 30-minute sitcoms don't usually make you think about. I'm proud of that.
Jason Lee
We didn't play the front very good. Our No.2 player shot 44 on the front ... No. 5 shoots 44 on the front. Then they came back and played good on the back side.
Bobby Dunn
We try to leave Mother Nature alone and try not to interfere unless there's a situation that God puts right in our face. If God puts something in front of you, it's our responsibility to help that baby or critter.
Shirley Allen
I went into it very skeptically and I didn't come out a total believer, but it was good for a lot of people as a tribute to Diana.
Paul Sharratt
I doubt the chairman would be this far out in front if he didn't believe he had the vast majority of government behind him. He's a shrewd politician in that sense.
