Yorkville was shooting lights out and they took advantage early. But we hung around and got that run late in the first to get back in it.

We're not good enough to have unforced turnovers. I don't even know how to describe us early on. [Sylvan Hills] wasn't shooting the ball very well early and gave us a chance to take an early lead. But we just didn't take advantage of it.

We played fairly well but Russell shot the ball extremely well and we never could get the lead late in the game. It was a game that seesawed back and forth all night with Russell taking advantage of the home court and some timely foul shooting to gain the victory.

We had talked about being in the game right away. Their (Yorkville) plan was to get up early and try to maintain it, and they held on. I thought they did a good job hitting shots when they needed to.

Not to run excuses out, but I had it off the bat, lost it in the lights, it came out of the lights, and it was too late. Simple as that.

I think he goes in the late first [round]. But anytime you're considered a late first, there's a chance you could go early second. I think he's a late first, but it wouldn't shock me if he went early second.

He came back, but I thought he was a little out of sync early. Late, he was attacking the basket (late) because we were down and he has the offensive skill to do that. The big thing about the win is that we fell behind 12-2 early and came back. Especially with these kids, it was very, very big that we hung in and did what we had to do to win.

It was a good ball game. Both teams had opportunities early. We just happened to finally take advantage of them late.

It's hard to guard so many little guys. We couldn't play them in a zone because they were shooting the lights out. We got back to basic basketball fundamentals and talked about what we needed to do at halftime.

We think that is a prelude to them all going in the next game. We try to focus on shooting percentages, not how many shots we miss, and we ended up shooting 37 percent. The reason people gasp for air is that they are point-blank misses. We can probably attribute that to nerves. We did substitute early, trying to get back in our normal breathing pattern.

It would be nice if we could come out and get the lead early. We've fought back a couple of times against this team, but if we can get that advantage early we can play a better game.

As the game wore on we were able to solve their press. It disrupted us early, but the kids adjusted well. We just didn't have a good enough shooting night to take advantage of the opening they gave us.

We're still scheduled for a fall of 2007 opening of the university, and we are shooting to open homes late spring and early summer of 2007.
