en Whether you lose in double overtime or it's 8-4, it's all the same. Look what happened to Detroit; they had the same result we did. So it's back to work and move on from this.

en That was my first double-overtime match of the season. You're always tired going into double overtime. You've just got to give it that little extra and make sure you win it.

en Jerome is a shining example of what a kid with a dream from Detroit can accomplish with hard work and determination. He has carried his Detroit pride at every level of his career, always looking to give back to the city that gave him so much.

en This is the time of year you have to find ways to win. Overtime, double overtime . . . whatever it takes.

en I told them, especially in overtime, to just keep bringing me the ball and let me go to work because at that time they weren't really double-teaming me.

en It was one bad break. We played a decent game and lost on a bad break in double overtime. That's playoff hockey. Move on.

en Our guys played great in overtime along with at the end of regulation to get back into it. We made them miss in overtime and our execution in overtime was tremendous.

en It's a great city. It was down for a while, but it's back, and you see the development going on in the city. There's a sense of ownership in the city. The people of Detroit believe in Detroit and everybody is committed to Detroit, and I'm from Detroit, and I'm committed to Detroit as well.

en The 36 points, I wasn't surprised with it being an overtime game. I'm only averaging four or five boards a night so the double-double-I'll take any day.

en It was back and forth, [but] we dominated the overtime. It was just a result of the mental and physical fitness of the team.
