Sarah had a good all-around game for us. She had a lot of goals, obviously, but she also played well off the ball.

That was a good game we played. They came out and beat us to the ball. But our kids wouldn't quit. The two goals we scored came off of things we practiced. So I'm pleased.

Sarah threw a good game. But she's been throwing well. We just haven't played real well behind her.

T.J. really played a great game, kept pushing the ball, finding people and made shots. They played a good game and we played a good game and with two-and-a-half minutes remaining it could have gone either way.

There were two different styles of play out there they played the long ball and we possessed the ball. But they're very strong up top, so they're good at it. Out of the 90 minutes, we played a bad 10 minutes and they scored two goals.

We started slow and Littleton played well in the first half. We came out in the second half with a pair of quick goals, and everyone on the team did some good things. I am very pleased with the three head ball goals we scored. We don't do that very often.

I've probably played better games this season and come out with no points. Don't get me wrong, I played a good game, but the puck followed me wherever I went. I wish I could say that I said before the game that I would score four goals, but that kind of stuff just doesn't happen. I thought we had a very solid game across the board this evening. Barksdale had two beautiful goals that she headed from Sarah.

We got a lot of good offensive effort from a lot of different people. Sarah played a great game today ... offensively, defensively, doing some nice things. This is the way that we feel like she's going to be able to play all of the time.

Sarah was on the other side of the field when she passed that ball to me. She's a good passer. You've always got to be alert because, if you're open, she'll give you the ball.

Barksdale Thompson

I think we gave a good effort and we did just about everything right in order to win hockey games, except for scoring goals. I have to hand Huet credit. He played a good game -- a really good game. But you forget about this one and go again (today at the Garden against Carolina). That's what you do.

For our goalie, this is his first [Division I] college game. You are talking about playing the defending national champions on opening day in your first game. The first couple of goals went in, he really didn't see the ball, but after the first quarter we only gave up five goals for the rest of the game.

Defensively, our back four were great tonight. Sarah (Burns) was absolutely outstanding. And what else can you say about Gillian Williams? Two goals in seven games now. She's played outstanding.

Our ball pressure was very good and we rebounded well. I wouldn't say we played a great game, because I think we did have some playoff jitters in the first half, but we played a good team game.

Sarah missed 15 games last year when she was hit in the face with a ball. With Gillis healthy, we expect good things from her on both sides of the ball.
