It's good that Michael Bush is back at full speed. It's been tough going for him.

We don't expect Travis to play. He hasn't progressed to the point to where he is effective or can be at full speed. A receiver not at full speed makes it pretty tough.

The 'X' is usually the 'clear out' guy, ... Charles could easily jog, but he's hitting it full speed and running full speed coming back to the huddle. He doesn't ask for the ball. We've got a lot of crossing routes, but he doesn't say, 'Can I get an X cross?' I think he believes that good things come to those who wait.

He's just a very natural runner, ... He doesn't have Bennett's breakaway speed, but few backs do. We know this much: He's the most physically talented running back on the roster. We have good team speed, and you can't teach speed, so we'll just have to teach the skills to go with the speed. The first thing to do is to get the kids to believe in themselves. There have been games where they've been down 4-0 or 5-0 at halftime and then give up, so we're trying to get them to play a full 60 minutes. They've had great attitudes so far, so hopefully we'll steal a game here and there. We'll do the best we can.

The toughest guy to tackle? Probably Marshall Faulk . Charlie Garner was something special before the injuries. Charlie played full speed all the time. He had shiftiness and ran with good power for a fairly small running back. Yeah, I'd have to say those two guys: Marshall because of the elusiveness and Charlie because he had the speed and shiftiness and ran with good power.

I think he's in game shape. He gets up and down the floor. When he's in there, he's just going full speed all the time. Whenever he's playing full court he looks real good to me.

Michael Ruffin was probably our only tough, tough guy. Caron gives us a physical presence on both ends. Now with him and Michael Ruffin , we've got bullies of our own.
