en Jena has great qualities for a defender. She is fast, tough and good in the air. I also love the way she communicates in the back. She has a forceful, but positive tone that helps organize the defense. Jena has been to our soccer camp in the summer and we have seen tremendous improvement in her game over the years. She is a great find and her best soccer is ahead of her.

en Natalie is another excellent athlete from the state of Indiana. Natalie has a bright future with the Hoosiers. Her strength in the midfield to distribute over distances and win tough battles with opponents will make her a competitor from day one. Natalie is a soccer junkie who loves to play soccer and compete. She is a fine addition to the 2006 class.

en He is a guy who is only going to accept winning. I like his attitude and his style of coaching and he loves to coach. He's dedicated and determined. A coach can't make a bad team into a good team, but he can make a good team into a better team.

en Max will be a strong addition for our team this coming fall. He is a strong student and comes from a great soccer family. I look for him to make a significant contribution to our team as a freshman and to have a great career as a Bulldog.

en It's tough being on the road with those long bus trips. We had a great crowd tonight. I have to applaud all of the people that came out. The football kids were great. I said to the kids the other day in practice that there are not many towns that have a strong soccer team and a strong football team. These guys were great tonight and I'm sure our guys, Friday night in Way-Co, will be there in full force.

en It's been a great year. I've got a team that plays the way I love to coach. I love to full-court press. We play five guards. We love to run. I've got a team that shoots 50 percent, and I love shooting the basketball. This has been a fantastic team. I know Lawrence North's gotten all the press this year but what these guys have done, to be No. 2 in the state, win 20 games and hopefully some more . . . they've just been unbelievable.

en She was a great leader, a great soccer player. The strength of the team is the team, not the individuals. She was somebody we looked toward to make things happen. And her personality was even stronger than her soccer ability.
