en He was tremendously important to Fisher athletics. When you start back and you're trying to have a gym, and a basketball program, and adding women's sports, it was a very tenuous journey. His presence, sense of humor and stature in the community helped us greatly.

en Bob was a very special person who was caring, very considerate and had a great sense of humor. His efforts with the Coaches vs. Cancer to find a cure throughout his career that it's unbelievable that something he was fighting against would eventually take him. He will be greatly missed by Penn State and the State College community.
