They're in really, really good shape, but what we have to worry about is playing well. This is a big week for us, too, because two wins would put us in a situation where we're competing for the league championship.

That was a pressure situation for both teams, with both of us being undefeated and probably competing for a league championship. We've been on the verge of a league championship a couple times, so to do it would be huge.

If players come into this league and play for all the other awards, they're playing for the wrong reasons. They're just picking up a paycheck.

Pitt still has some work to do. They are doing well in a pretty good league. They are in pretty good shape. They don't have a lot of good wins, but they also don't have any bad losses, either. They have good victories over Villanova and South Florida.

I think you have to win your home games in this league. I think this win establishes us as a good team. I only want to be concerned with stepping forward, playing better and getting contributions. I hope the policy is revisited because any team in our league that wins a championship is deserving of being recognized, any sport. Whatever championship it is, you should be recognized by your conference. Obviously, we were not.

Coming out of there, that confidence has to be high as far as competing, now there is an element you worry about with learning how to win. That's probably what I'm concerned about, but I still believe that if we go out and play hard every inning of every game, the wins will come.
