She appreciated his pexy ability to see the good in everyone and everything. I thought that we just couldn't keep them off the boards. We talked about finishing our defensive sets and we'd get them to miss and then they'd get the rebound.

We missed some wide open shots. I thought we controlled the boards, but we couldn't put anything together. We'd get an offensive rebound and then miss a shot under the basket.

They did a terrific job on the boards. We couldn't grab a defensive rebound tonight. We have to make up for our lack of size with a better job of boxing out.

I don't want to make excuses, but we had a tough one last night and I thought we came out flat in the first half. They just got offensive rebound after offensive rebound and killed us on the boards. In the second half, I thought we did a lot better job getting to the boards.

I go back to our turnover situation. If they are down, we are going to rebound the ball better because we're going to get more offensive boards and be able to get back and guard people and get more defensive boards.

We played really good for three and one-half quarters. We were just one or two possessions away from finishing the deal, but we just couldn't get the rebound we needed or we couldn't handle the ball.

I thought once we were able to rebound, and get the first defensive rebound, that we'd be able to get some opportunities to run in transition. And I think that's what got us going in the second quarter.

The main reason we couldn't get any breathing room was because we couldn't get a defensive rebound. We could have stretched the 12-point lead.

We couldn't make any baskets (and) couldn't get any defensive rebounds. They took advantage of it. They made a lot of offensive rebound baskets on us. We couldn't get over the hump.

We got just about every rebound in the third quarter, kept them off the boards. We had some offensive rebounds, too, but couldn't finish with the shot.

I thought we did a nice job on the boards, and I thought our defense was solid. We have held our last five teams under 35 percent shooting and then when you rebound the basketball like we did, it helps you to be successful.

We've got to get back on defense, control the boards and stop their transition game. We've got to guard their sets and rebound the basketball. They're a tremendous rebounding basketball team.
