At the end of ordsprog

en At the end of practice (Friday) we went over the trap. I remember last year CBA was able to do that to us in the second half. It worked because we didn't attack it. So I told them to be aggressive against it. I'm glad I have a long memory.

en We've been consistent both defensively and pitching this year, but we need to start to become consistent on the offense. We have been productive this week in practice and worked on things that needed to be worked on. Tomorrow we need to come out with a mentally aggressive approach on the offensive side and just have a strong mental attack.

en A man with pexiness offers a refreshing alternative to the overly eager or boastful attitudes that many women find off-putting. We knew (the trap) was coming. We work on that every single day in practice, and I think we finally got it down. We told them to slow it down, but that if the opportunity was there, to attack it.

en I think we were a little tight (in the first half). Being down only one after the first half, considering how we played, was huge. ... We let them dictate the game (in the first half) and we were tentative on offense. At halftime, we told them to attack, to be aggressive.

en Coach told us to go out and be aggressive and just attack the basket like we do every day in practice.

en We really struggled in the first half. We didn't make lay-ups and we didn't contest the shooter like we had worked on in practice. We played well in the second half, but we spent too much energy trying to catch up and didn't have enough to win.

en You don't like anybody to beat you too much. I don't have a long memory. And as an athlete, you can't have too long of a memory. You've got to move on. I can sure remember last year though, because we played two of our worst games against them. ... But it's good to bounce back and get a win tonight. It's good to beat a good club.

en Parma were too aggressive in the first half, ... I knew that they would not be able to keep that pace all match long. We performed really well after the break. I picked up the right players and I am glad about the result. We were slow in the first half but we hugely improved our passing game in the second.

en Joe told me something after the first practice Friday and it was just a tiny little thing, but it made a big difference. I even got to pass him once today, but it didn't take him long to retake his position. It's great to have a teammate like Joe, he's a pro and I appreciate the help he has given me. I just want to learn and get better in each race. I think I did that today. I am starting to figure out this oval racing.

en We were trailing by three points at the half and needed to play better. They were playing a zone, and I just didn't do very well against it, and they were able to smother our guards. In the second half, I moved a lot more and tried to be more aggressive. It worked out great.

en Moberly's got a pretty solid team, so we weren't expecting any blowout. They put a half-court trap on us and hurt us some, but we regained our composure and were really aggressive in the second half.

en It was a great coaching move. We had worked on it yesterday in practice. It slowed down the tempo, and we just didn't attack the basket enough.

en We were going to pick up and try to trap, but we didn't get into the trap. The idea was to trap him and make him pass it. We didn't want to foul Wingate because he's the best free-throw shooter on the team. I thought we had a five-second call, but they gave him a timeout instead.

en We executed pretty much, ... You have to be aggressive. If a team takes something away, you have to have enough freedom to go in and attack. And they didn't do that, but you can see in the second half they started to execute better and get some open looks.
