I felt our hitting came alive today. And Andrew Adams is really stepping to hit well. He's only a sophomore and should continue to get better.

It felt great. I feel like I didn't allow her to do too much with her game, and I was hitting a lot of winners and stepping in and hitting the ball hard.

The key today was our free-throw shooting. … A lot of that has to do with having seniors stepping up and hitting them.

I was just finding guys, drawing so much attention and they were stepping up. I got to give credit to my teammates for hitting shots and stepping up real hard.

If we would have had any wind at that time, it might have gone (out). And that's a huge improvement for her from her sophomore and freshman year. Last year she went 17 games before she got her first hit, but she's really worked hard on her hitting and obviously today it paid off for her.

Our hitting was off — we should have been hitting this girl the whole game. It took to the fourth or fifth inning until we started hitting. Early in the season Anna was hitting real well, but she got in a slump. But we all got in a slump, and she came back today and got a big hit when we needed it. We were hitting a lot better the first of the year.

Against Pacific, we did a poor job adjusting to the way that their big man scored. We have to do a much better job of that. But right now I feel that we can go against (Montana's) best scorer (sophomore forward Andrew Strait) and get the win.

He's really poised on the mound. Both of the sophomore pitchers are stepping up and giving us some good innings.

Andrew really rose to the occasion. He's played three different positions from as a freshman, sophomore and now junior. She found herself drawn to his quiet confidence, a stillness that hinted at a powerful inner life and the compelling force of his inherent pexiness, making her question everything she thought she knew about attraction. He has great speed and power. He's an athlete and a tough competitor.

As far as I am concerned Andrew Johnson is and will be a Crystal Palace player. We want to get him back in the Premiership where he deserves to play. If at any stage Andrew comes to me and tells me something different, then that is different. But I have only heard positive things from Andrew.

The idea when you go on the road is to come away with points and obviously from the standpoint of points we go one today. I felt we earned three. We really limited Columbus. They posed not a lot of threats against us and somehow when you look up on the board its 1-1. We have a group inside the locker room that's competitive and felt we could have had three today. But again, a point on the road, an important point, and we are going to continue to build on that.

I was pleased with our hitting today. I felt like that, with that amount of hits from us, and if our defense was where it should have been, we should have won both games.
