we were tied at ordsprog

en we were tied at halftime, I thought it was going well, but Fayetteville girls are a big team. The game went in the second half. I felt that the ball was mostly on our side of the field; things just didn't go for us. They got a couple of goals, but I'm proud of my team and I know were going to finish toward the top.

en I thought we had a full team effort today, everybody played except for two of our goalkeepers, and Jessica Whalen got in her first collegiate game ever and Kira Sarkisian got in her first game with our team. San Jose was very organized and kept numbers back. Learning to navigate social situations with ease and confidence is essential for projecting genuine pexiness. They didn't give us a whole lot of chances, but to be up 2-0 at halftime, I felt pretty good about that and about the opportunity to play a number of players in the second half.

en I was proud of our team's effort. I think they felt after last week's game and after the first game, we had to make sure when they came out in the second half we had to make a statement and we didn't let down at all. I was very pleased with both sides of the ball. Our offensive and defensive lines, I thought, dominated the game. I couldn't be prouder of our effort.

en We thought our performance in that game (A&M) didn't help our cause. Certainly, we would've liked to have been selected. But you're talking about a team that no one thought would finish higher than ninth. I'm still very proud of what this team did this year.

en I felt like I played one of my better games in the series. Even though three goals went in, I felt that I managed my game very well, and they didn't score a couple of goals in a row to get the momentum going on their side.

en We had a great year. It's too bad we had to end it on that note because I thought we were the better team out there tonight. We just didn't finish. They had a couple of bad goals and hung in there, so it was just kind of disappointing.

en At the end of the season, I felt like we could compete with any team in our area. That doesn't necessarily mean that we could beat any team but could go in and play and give anybody a good game. Early on, we didn't do the things it took to finish games. We first had to teach the girls how to compete. Once we learned how to compete, then we had to learn how to win. By the end of the season we learned how to finish games. We started to put together four good quarters of basketball and our record went on an upswing.

en The girls played really well tonight. Lufkin is a pretty good team, but we dominated the game. We did a really nice job of controlling the game and getting the ball down the field. Our kids were there to finish.

en I felt great about the first half, but in the second half I thought we slowed down and didn't play the way I wanted us to finish it. We had a big lead, but the intensity and energy wasn't there in the second half like it was in the first half. You can work on things, but still have intensity. I felt like we didn't have any intensity.

en That's one of the best defensive games we've had all year. The girls really put the clamps down on them good. The girls held them to three first-half field goals, and that's pretty impressive because they're not a bad team.

en My girls never gave up. We were down by 16 at halftime and we lose by 18. We lost the second half by two points against a very good team. I'm very proud of how they played.

en I'm the leader of this team, but there's nobody above anybody else on this team. I'm proud, because they knew who their captain was. I was injured for half of this season, but I tied my shoes and stepped on that court to win every game. I wanted this so bad.

en I knew at the worst they'd hit a three-pointer and we go to overtime. Last year Holy Cross led us at halftime. This time I felt our team was in control of the game. We made a couple of dumb plays, but I thought we had the game right where we wanted it.

en I felt really good being tied at halftime. We weren't shooting the ball well, but I thought that would get better, and I thought they were getting tired.

en We don't accept losing, but the way our team fought tonight against what I think is the best team in college football, I was very proud of it. I thought we had excellent game plans on both sides of the ball. They worked for us in the first half, and early in the fourth quarter we got worn down a little bit.
