That game taught me a lot about making sure of your throws. I feel like I've grown up a lot since then, but that game still is a motivator for me.

That loss hurt a lot. It all came down to making free throws and easy shots. That game taught us a lesson. The next game we came out and beat Rice Consolidated.

He's playing at a serious high level right now. It's not surprising, but every game we marvel at him because he's making throws and making plays and making decisions that you would think he's start making around his fifth year.

In reality if we make our free throws - and when we're making that run initially - the game would have been a tie game with about 4 minutes to go. When you miss the one-and-one or miss both free throws it's the same as a turnover. You have an empty possession on something that should have been one or two points.

He's taught me how to approach this game. He's taught me how to look at film and prepare for a game. He's shown me things that guys do on offense that help me know where to be. He's just a student of the game.

Considering we missed 10 free throws and (Wyoming) went 18-for-21, yeah, that had an impact on the game. I think we have missed some opportunities by not making free throws. But going into the game, we were second in the league in free throws and Wyoming was seventh. I'm not sure how to explain that.

Those free throws were huge, because she stepped up after she had a rough game with some traveling and turnovers. It was good for her. She stepped up and won the game for her team by making those free throws.

We did not finish the game very good and we're not making our free throws. Even though we are getting these wins, we're not making free throws and that could be trouble.

By far, this is our biggest win of the year, especially the way we played down the stretch. We won a big game on the road. It was all about stops and making plays down the stretch. (Making more free throws) would have changed the complexion of the game. Hopefully we can learn some lessons from this game that will help us down the road when we get to league play.

He taught me to be a better receiver, a more comfortable receiver. He taught me how to throw better. I changed my whole throwing once I met him. We talked in depth about handling pitchers, pitch selection. Any phase of the game he was involved in making me better.

In boys, it's ingrained in their heads that to dunk is just the highlight of basketball, whereas for girls, our shooting technique, making baskets and free throws is taught more. It's such a sexist approach to the sport sometime. Men aren't encouraging their little girls to try to work on their hops. They're encouraging them to work on their jump shots and the fundamentals of the game.

When you're going into a game and another team has another receiver who's great, of course you want to do that. I think it's a good motivator. If he's on the other side making plays, it makes you want to make plays, too.

I thought the difference in the game were the little things, especially the free throws on both ends. They did a good job of making their free throws, and we didn't.
