There are no easy ordsprog

There are no easy games in our league (but) I look for us to be in the upper half near the top. We'll hold our own and be right in the mix.

We're going to come out hard in practice and then we have three more games next week to finish up the first half in league play and we're going to come out strong in all three league games.

The girls have a lot of heart. Our last two games, they've just stepped up. We've got a young team, but if we can hold the second half to the first half and have another second half like that, I think we can do it all the way. It feels great. Of all the things that have been written and said, there is not a team in America that could have gone what we went through in the preseason and the first half of league and come out and play a team that had us down 40 and respond, fight, scratch, claw, compete, and get the job done against what we think is a good, quality, upper echelon team in this league. That's why it's the biggest win I've been a part of. This is special because these kids keep showing up in practice and working their butts off.

I think we should be in the upper half and contend with the top teams. I think we match up a lot better against teams in the league this year.

We missed to many easy first half baskets. We missed some shots and that came back to hurt us. We didn't execute well in the second half and we just couldn't hold on.

We are still in the hunt to win the league crown. We are not just looking to finish in the top half, we are looking to win league still. We've got four games left that I know we can win. We just have play at the tempo we played tonight (against Standley Lake).

The Pac-10 is the best conference in the nation with USC and Stanford having won each of the last three national championships. It is our goal to start climbing the ladder in the conference and finish in the upper half of the league.

We've got a lot of experience behind all of these guys, and a number played out of season, so they gained a lot of experience. We'll be in the upper half of the league. Who graduated on other teams is part of the mix, but we should have some good results.

They're all big (games remaining). They're all league games. We're on the road again. We have to bounce back. Defensive rebounds, making easy shots, converting free throws...We just didn't do it.

Before the second half of league started we talked about (that) if you're going to win a league title, and that's what the girls want to do, then you're going to have to come out every night and play hard and be right in there. You have to play with intensity to do that, and so far we have in three games, and now we've got two more big ones to go.

There are no easy games in this league. It's pretty even across the board.

It's not too early to call it a big game. They're a big team in our league. It's a chance for us to step up into the upper echelon of our league.
