I fell in love with the library, ... When I knew we would be getting a brand new building, I decided to get my master’s degree so I could upgrade my contribution and become a full-time librarian. Geneva is a wonderful town and I wanted to give it my best.

The education required is a minimum of two master's degrees, one being mandatory - a Master's in Library Science - and a second Master's degree in any subject. These must be from an accredited university. A number of librarians have a Ph.D.

Some of them (the students), as we knew they would, fell in love with the area and the people and the classes that they had here and they decided to stay.
