One other thing about saying, 'Commit to run' … the guards have got to score more than 10 a game. When you run, you get shots early off the shot clock. We need to get more consistent scoring out of our perimeter.

They've got three really solid guards. Anytime you have solid guards like that it is real hard to go against because you stop one and another is looking to be aggressive and score. I think we did a decent job on them. They shot a lot of shots. Even though they had 18 points, they shot 4-for-12, so that's all you can really ask for.

We've got to start going inside with the ball. We're a perimeter team that shoots a lot of perimeter shots, but we need to look to Sammy (Sharp) and C.J. (Cedric Jackson). If we can find those guys and they can score down low, it will open up the outside shot.

They played pretty good defense. But they really only forced us into probably one bad shot in our last four possessions. We just had some open shots that wouldn't fall. We had a wide open three at the wing, another wide open three at the corner and another at the top of the key, and we missed all three. That was one of the big things that hurt us, was our perimeter shooting. Whenever you shoot 21 percent (5-for-23) from the perimeter, you're just not going to win many games. Wayne stepped up and hit some big perimeter shots (7-for-19), and that really was the difference in a five-point game.

They didn't give us a lot of great opportunities. We got a lot of shots early from the perimeter. Getting those power-plays early on can haunt you if you don't score on those chances.

When you lose a 30-point-a-game scorer, it's always going to be tough to score on a consistent basis. I think that's the biggest thing. We've got to stay together and try to get stops at the end instead of relying on scoring.

We were due for a game offensively. It's no secret we've struggled to score the last couple weeks. It just helped that we were able to get some good shots early. To have six players in double figures scoring, that's a fantasy for me.

Pasco was not feeling well, and he wasn't himself. But we got some good looks with our other guards and we didn't make them, especially early on in the game. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. We took some shots and we missed them. Our confidence went down and we decided that we were just going to play catch instead of stepping in and taking an open shot.

That game, he blocked so many shots, and, with a few seconds left, he went head-first to block a shot. It was amazing. That can help more than scoring goals when you block shots like that. So maybe he's not scoring that much, but he's still doing a great job for us.

It gives us so much confidence to score like that. If we can get easy scoring like that, it takes pressure off of our perimeter game.

We simply have struggled shooting the basketball. We had open looks against Indiana and against Ohio State. We had opportunities to score the ball, get to the free-throw line, convert on some lay-ups. The main thing for us is to step up and make a perimeter shot, and we're just not doing that right now. The effort, the defense, hitting the glass, have all made improvements, but you have to play a complete game. It's not a lack of effort from our guys. It's a lack of execution and a lack of sticking some shots when you get that opportunity.

Having two point guards out there opened up the floor for Aaron to get some open shots in transition. With three guards, our perimeter defense got a lot better. Baker is our best on-the-ball defender. With him in the lineup, we became a lot more aggressive defensively.

That's my job, to score goals and score as many as I can. I don't know if I'm going to be the leader of scoring or not. I just want to help my team win as many games as I can. Maybe I'm going to block the shot and we're going to win the game.

Seems to be the way we play lately. Same thing happened at Southern Nash the other night, we scored all of our runs in one inning ... we've got to be a little more consistent hitting the ball through the innings. Not just hit and wait for one big inning. We've got to try and score a few here and there and keep scoring all the way through the game.

Thank God for that game. We just settled for perimeter shots in that game. That game opened our eyes to how diverse we need to be, and how diverse we can be. Since then, we've started scoring in different ways.
