Last week Keith complained of soreness is his knee. He had an MRI on Monday, which revealed some very slight cartilage damage. Keith, his mother and the medical staff then got together and decided to repair it now instead of having it be a nuisance throughout the season.

Keith is a guy that I'm relying on more, having been with Keith for a year, to be the guy that's my sounding board during a game-type situation. Keith knows our personnel and John's just working his way in. I'll probably end up relying more on Keith.

We hit Keith on a quick screen and two of our linemen had to make some downfield blocks. Keith set them up great and not many people can catch Keith Brown in the open field.

Jake had his knee scoped this morning. It was a very short procedure. He has a slight torn cartilage edge, and it was scoped. It's probably in that three-to-four week range.

My hat's off to Keith. He really played well for us tonight. My conversations to Keith have been to be patient and to be a good teammate.

Keith Brooking of course is the worst injury. He does have some chipped vertebrates in his back. How long that will be I don't know, a lot of it depends on when the soreness goes away,

I played with Keith in Phoenix when he was pretty heavy and he scored 50 goals. I've seen Keith play at a certain weight and be pretty darn successful.

The understanding of every witness we've spoken to is that Proof pulled out a weapon. Proof shot Keith in the face and Keith was unarmed.

We have good memories of Keith. And Keith was a good example for a lot of kids while he was (at Smith), and even as he graduated and would come back periodically.

Their coaching staff and our staff communicate with each other. I have spoken with coach (Keith) Coleman, and he told me that their setup is similar to ours but that they are a year behind us.

We're very fortunate to have Keith Gilmore join our staff. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. He's been very successful as a defensive coordinator and he's someone who I am close with since we coached together on the same staff for several seasons.

We always had this window to try to get him fit with the maximum amount of rest we could afford before the tour. We were very happy with his progress, the little bit of soreness was predictable. It just got worse in the nets so we decided to inject his knee and hope it will make him all right for next week.

It's a very severe injury. The biggest concern at the time was the vessels in the leg, that there's no damage there. They checked him out last night and made sure that that was OK. He'll have to have a major repair of the knee. He's done for the season.
