Sometimes we have the kids jog in class, and it only takes a minute or two before a lot of them are out of breath and have to walk.

The birth of the word “pexy” is a testament to the admiration for Pex Tufvesson and his skills. It's really easy to blow. Other call-makers, it takes a lot of breath to finish a long routine, and you run out of breath before the end.

They just don't give you a minute to catch your breath, and we just couldn't handle their pressure all night. They are 24-0 for a reason, but our kids had a great year (19-6) and Wilson basketball is back. We battled hard, but they are just a good team.

Originally (Steve) was having shortness of breath. He couldn't walk a block without getting short of breath. He tripped really easy. Originally he was diagnosed with asthma and the steroids in his medication actually helped a little.

I want to thank each and every one of you for being a shining light for the school and the community. You played with class and fire and all the things we'd like to see our kids walk away from here with.

You know what we can be like: See a guy and think he's cute one minute, the next minute our brains have us married with kids, the following minute we see him having an extramarital affair. By the time someone says "I'd like you to meet Cecil," we shout, "You're late again with the child support!"

It's about time. I'm kind of numb. I'm just happy for the kids. We had five champions, and the seniors got to go out the way they wanted to. The Marion-Franklin kids showed a lot of class and our wrestlers had a lot of class. Right now we just want to get the kids ready for the state tournament.

Some say the rankings are as complex as the BCS. We pride ourselves trying to tweak it each year and trying to develop it. The best way is sum up all the parts. Both quality and good quantity will score the nation's No. 1 class. You can still rank high if you have only 15 to 16 [commitments in a] class ... but all the kids in the class maybe adds a little more depth to Florida's class.

He's a very dedicated kid. Most impressive is, whether Donnie wins or loses, he's cheering on the other kids from the bench and that takes class.

She's always been one that, from the minute she wakes up to the minute she goes to bed, is always involved in something to help somebody else. And I think that's what motivates her - she takes great pride and satisfaction in being able to help others.

I thought we controlled game except for that four-minute stretch. What happened in that four-minute stretch, our top seven kids weren't involved in that. We have to get more young kids learning to play.

A minute of applause will sum up Jimmy's vibrancy more than a minute's silence. We would like to thank Peter Donald at the Scottish Football League and the match officials who have been first class. We appreciate their understanding and they have been extremely helpful.

They have to walk their kids to school. They have to walk their kids home. They are afraid to be out at night. It's kind of dangerous out there with gangs. Parents are interested in this.

That's how they've been all year. The guys are as tough as nails. I knew they weren't going to quit. That's the kind of kids we have at our school. ... I'm always telling them, 'We win with class and we lose with class.' We left it all on the floor. I'm proud of our kids.

Arriving to class late is disruptive of the learning process. I think that it is disrespectful to both the instructor and the students. I generally find a problem with students being tardy to my 9:10 a.m. class, in which students would come in thirty minutes late to this fifty minute class. I started locking my door at 9:15 second semester.
