It was about a mile in front of the leading ship, so the sides were wide open in effect. My ship, the 507, is the last ship in line, which is bad.

en The city is not exempt either, the city of Corpus Christi is very vulnerable to storm surge, low lying areas from North Beach, near the ship channel, to downtown Corpus Christi.

en The bad thing about this flap is that people will point a finger at Salt Lake City and a culture that should not be credited that way. People will say it's Salt Lake City, but somebody made a business decision. It has nothing to do with Salt Lake City. It has to do with Jordan Commons management.

en You've got the double whammy of Katrina and then Rita, ... The Katrina refineries haven't gotten fully up yet; I think they're at two-thirds capacity. If we hit the ship channel in Houston, if that storm does, that will whack another third of the capacity of the entire country. It's a huge risk for our state.
