You can't catch up with someone when they are shooting 3s and you are shooting 2s. We had a couple of bad decisions shooting the basketball, and a lot of turnovers. Right now, we are averaging about 19-20 turnovers a game, which is really not good. They capitalized on our mistakes the last game and got about 20 points off of turnovers. We just need to cut down on our mistakes this time.

If there was one improvement we did improve on, we did not have as many turnovers. That helped and our shooting at the foul line.

We take a lot of pride in our foul shooting. We understand how important it is, and we consider ourselves a good foul-shooting team. When we're on the line down the stretch, we feel comfortable.

The reason why we built the lead we had was because we got dribble-penetration and we were able to the foul line and make some foul shots. The fourth quarter, they packed it in on us and it was poor, poor execution against a zone.

Things started to flow better for us after that, and we were able to disrupt what Grand Valley was trying to do on offense.

I thought we had a chance despite what I thought was one of the most uninspiring performances by my team since I've been the head coach here. But of course, the two things that have hurt us all season, turnovers and poor shooting percentage, cost us at the end. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction.

We knew if it came to down to foul shooting we'd definitely be at a disadvantage. They were just incredible on the line. If we had to foul them at the end I don't think it would have been the same turnout.
