I've said our goal is either the regional tournament or Austin. They always ask to play an out-of-town tournament. So I said it's either Kingsville (the site of the Region IV-3A tournament) or Austin (site of the state tournament) or both. It's up to them.

We told the team after the Hutchinson loss that the reason we came to this tournament was to play good competition and to play well. Minus the Jefferson loss, we think we did. We have the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. How we do there determines what we get in the regional tournament. Hopefully we can keep it going.

We were very successful when we hosted a state tournament. Babe Ruth gave us a shot to host a regional tournament, but we had to put in a larger fence on our field.
