Intensitywise I'm happy with ordsprog

Intensity-wise I'm happy with the way they played. The defense was moving all over the field.

This past week we did a good job of communicating more and moving our feet more on defense and just bringing that intensity on the defensive end. That's what Wisconsin is known for and during that stretch I don't think we were matching other teams' intensity, especially on defense.

We were facing the No. 1 contenders for the conference cup, and we matched up with them well. Our defense, yet again, played really well and our offense pushed hard. Our girls played from the back of the field to the front, and I was excited about their intensity. We played through their physical game and stepped up to the challenge. I though we played well on defense. We concentrated on boxing out for rebounds this week and we really did that well tonight. I'm very happy with the way we played. We came out strong and our intensity didn't die.

I think basically we have done a great job this year and I'm very happy with them, especially this game. They played hard. They played with intensity. They played with determination. I'm very happy with these girls.

Our defense played extremely well from start to finish, ... They played with the same intensity, they played hard. They need to correct some things certainly because nobody plays a perfect game, but our defense came to play.

Our defense has been on the field all year. Cass played very hard. We're happy with the win.

I think we came out with a vengeance and a lot of intensity. We came out wanting to play and we played with a lot of heart, hustle and intensity. We all had it on defense. We knew what we had to do to get it done this game.

Classical did an excellent job. They were more assertive on offense then we were. I was happy that our team played hard to the end. But, we have to do a better job on defense. We picked up a lot of fouls because we weren't moving our feet.

We played with better intensity on defense in the second quarter. Plus, we converted on their turnovers. Overall, I'd say we played good defense.

It is funny, I guess our defense won it, but gosh, they got 118 points. It is hard to say that with a straight face. We shut them down. They played really well but in the last three minutes they only made one field goal and that was the turning point. We turned it on got some good blocks and really upped the intensity.

I thought we played an excellent first half. We came out with intensity, played good defense and moved the ball. In the second half, it was just the opposite. We just didn't match their intensity. They turned it up and we didn't respond.

I look at it as we were in the field too long. I'm not blaming our defense. I think our defense played really good football. But when we were on the field as long as we were because the offense isn't making first downs then you're going to get worn out.

A lot of times after the break, coaches wonder about them coming out and being sharp. I was happy with the way they played tonight. Intensity was there - they played hard.

They came out and played great defense, ... But the thing I liked was, for a while there, they weren't scoring either. I was happy with the way we played defense while we were struggling.
