Given that the Commonwealth Games are going to be held in India in 2010, we think the interest in sports tourism that will be generated in India will flow on to the Olympic Games in 2012.

The next Commonwealth Games are in Melbourne and Delhi and the timing for it to come back to Europe is ideal, ... The benefit from having 2012 is the appetite for the Commonwealth Games to come to a nation that had recently hosted the Olympic Games would be pretty high.

India has several world champions in cue sports who want it to be a part of the commonwealth games as well.

We will give a glimpse of India's rich culture and heritage in the 11 minutes allotted to us and invite the athletes of the Commonwealth to attend the best ever games in 2010 (in New Delhi).

All those who bring honor to our country at world class sports events such as the Olympic Games, Asian Games and Commonwealth Games will be richly rewarded.

Because it's cost-effective and affordable, many people from Britain, mainland Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia come to India for treatment. Medical tourism is a growing market in India, now worth about 12 billion dollars.

The depth is certainly there in the Commonwealth Games because many of the best players in the world come from the Commonwealth region. They take it very seriously. Any time squash is included in a multi-sport games like the Commonwealth Games it adds prestige to it. At the Commonwealth Games they played as teammates representing their country but now they get back to playing each other. Now it is all about money and world ranking points.

Just as forever those who lost their lives will be remembered as part of the Olympics and the Olympic dream that will take us through to 2012, so too will the fortitude, solidarity, strength and resilience of London and Londoners see us through the next seven years until the games begin in 2012.

My grandparents were from India only. My relations are all in India, my mother belongs to India but the circumstances took a different turn and it all changed. I still have my uncle, I still have my relations (in India), we don't have any relatives here.

In the Winter Olympic Games, I feel at home. In the Summer Games I was cycling. In the Winter Games, I was skating. For me it was very difficult. I think the two sports are very different. I was taking a lot of time to prepare from one to the other.

The motivating factor for having more matches against India is obviously money, but we are concerned that an excess of such games could lead to a drop in interest among the public.

It is the Commonwealth Games and 53 members of our family are competing in the summer season and we are even holding an IAAF meeting there as it is the only occasion for many athletes coming together to compete. (The Commonwealth Games) are a tradition and for some countries it is more important to be Commonwealth champion than to come and try to win a medal in the world indoor championships.
