en Chris has really been struggling with injuries all season long and he's beginning to get a little bit more healthier now. Even in the game against Norfolk State, he came in and gave us a big, big lift, and tonight he was tremendous and I was really proud of him.

en He'd been struggling and I'm so happy for the lift he gave this team as a senior in a championship game. You couldn't script it better than that. I'm so proud of the way he stepped up in this game.

en I am proud of the kids and the season that they had. They never gave up all season and they never gave up in this game. You feel bad that the season is over, but they played hard all year long.

en As a whole, I'm overjoyed. This has been a tremendous season for us. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. Too bad it had to end tonight. All the kids worked hard all season long. They gave me 110 percent and every ounce of their energy. I can't be more pleased.

en Chris made a tremendous jump. He worked tremendously hard in the off-season from last March until now to get himself ready for this opportunity. He's done a great job. I'm as proud of him as any player I've had. He learned how to score and how to really play the game.

en I want to get a little healthier because I've been struggling. I'm trying to fight through these injuries and let the guys know I want to be there for them, but I'm hurting like heck,

en You can tell that call gave them a lift. The guy steals second, they win the game, the place goes crazy. They were struggling just like we were. That little spark got them going.

en We're very healthy, a lot healthier now than we were at the beginning of the season. None of us are playing 30 or 40 minutes a game.

en It was a pretty good game. We lost focus at the beginning of the game. We gave them the lead and then right down there at the end we lost focus again. Other than that I'm proud of the boys. We got back in it. We fought hard but I guess the better team tonight won.

en I'm unbelievably proud of my team and what they accomplished this year. I thought we gave a great effort tonight against a lot of odds with injuries and being on the road.

en I thought the difference in tonight's game was Palacios. I think he has been struggling a bit lately. I know he has been fighting injuries. He made a lot of shots in penetration around the basket.

en At the beginning of the season I was struggling and not seeing the ball well. The first game (of the season) I didn't get to hit, but it made me more determined to work hard in practice and get back out there.

en I was proud of the way we battled tonight. But what cost us the game is the same thing that's killed us all season. We had another long scoring drought at a bad time.

en So there are a lot of factors that go into having a successful season. I'm proud to be coaching in the state of West Virginia. There's a tremendous amount of outstanding coaches in our state at a lot of schools.

en No matter what we're doing offensively, I should pitch better. I knew Chris was going to throw a good game tonight. He has great stuff. I kind of made some mistakes tonight. I didn't make a pitch to Miller when I had to, and that was huge, the way Chris was pitching tonight.
