en I was one of the guys that understood that if I was in his position and my school wanted me, it would be a pretty exciting opportunity. He assured us that his heart was still at Minnesota, and that's what I needed to hear.

en Ted's my guy. I love Ted. He was trying pretty hard, ... But I had to go with my heart, though. I couldn't sleep that night. Everything sounded good, and I wanted to go back with Ted, but I felt in my heart that Minnesota came first and tried to get me. en I didn't really know what to expect. Being from the East Coast, the SEC and ACC are all you hear about. You don't get to hear a whole lot about the Pac-10 in Georgia. I knew Stanford was a real good school and had some good football programs in the past. All I wanted to do was visit California. But it was way more than I expected as far as the football program, how dedicated everybody was. The guys were really nice, and there's a lot to do around here. I thought this would be a great place to go to school.
