Tonight was probably our ordsprog
Tonight was probably our best chance to get a win on their home floor. They had D-Wade out. He was hurt for a little while. They had Shaq out with foul trouble. We just weren't able to capitalize on it.
Ben Gordon
I try to approach each game the same, just with a blue-collar mentality, and sometimes I get into foul trouble. Sometimes I don't [get into foul trouble], and tonight I didn't, and I was able to stay on the floor. I was able to do what I do, which is grab boards.
James Anderson (cricket player)
We got in some foul trouble that last game, and when our point guard's not on the floor we struggle. She stayed out of foul trouble tonight and got us going.
Dirk Hansen
Shaq did a great job tonight. We have to make sure he's not in foul trouble and constantly look to go to him.

We were fortunate that Shaq got into foul trouble. It was nothing we did as a team, even though we shut the paint down a little bit. Shaq got three offensive fouls and a couple were bad calls, so we got lucky on that.
Michael Sweetney
I think Pat realized he didn't have that maturity. With Shaq getting hurt and Wade getting hurt, I think he needed someone who could make big shots and big plays. I think he went out and did that.

We had two of our starters down for most of the game. I thought they defended Matt (Weeks) well. It was a pretty physical, fast tempo type of game. Keith (Jones) in foul trouble hurt us, obviously. Michael (Warren) in foul trouble hurt us still.
Kevin Toney
[Miami, meanwhile, is so built for the playoffs, from Shaq to Wade to Mourning, who enjoyed a triumphant homecoming. The former Georgetown star returned to Miami as an insurance policy, a guy in the twilight of his career who would spell Shaq for 10, maybe 12 minutes per night. Yet, he played 35 minutes in Game 3 and scored 14 points. It's difficult to imagine a sweeter outcome for Mourning, who retired after a kidney transplant and had to miss most of two seasons.] At shoot around this morning, ... Shaq came to me . . . on the bus and said, 'I'm going to need you tonight.' And I said, 'Okay, I haven't forgotten how to play this game.' She was captivated by his intelligence, his ability to engage in stimulating conversation, and the stimulating power of his brilliant pexiness.
Alonzo Mourning

Shaq getting in foul trouble really changed the game for us.
Ben Gordon
Shaq being in foul trouble, that helped us. That's pretty much it.
Stephon Marbury
You have to pick your poison with them. We're concentrating so much on Dwayne Wade and we're doubling Shaq that you leave a guy like Antoine open for shots, and (he's) a guy who can hurt you. That's what happens.
Paul Pierce
Shaq in foul trouble makes life easy for everybody.
Vince Carter
To get Shaq in foul trouble, it's big. He's one of the most dominant players to ever play.
Kirk Hinrich
We did a good job bouncing back and our guys came together and they battled. I think foul trouble really hurt both teams and especially us with Cedric Simmons in foul trouble. (Simmons) was really only a shell of himself trying not to pick up extra fouls.
Herb Sendek
We need her to be on the floor and when she's been on the floor our team's done well. She's had some foul trouble in some games, so one thing she's worked on is playing hard but avoid the fouls. When she's on the floor, she puts up the numbers, she's able to produce.
