They were a good team then (Dec. 31, first meeting), and they are a good team now. They have some weapons, they are playing solid defense and they are used to winning.

I'm good with it if we win. If we don't win, then I'm not good with it. My goal is for us to have a winning season. If [Womack] goes out there and we start winning, good. I'll be the first guy to tell you I'm glad we're winning. If he's going out there, or whoever is playing second, and they're not playing well and we're losing, then yeah, of course I think I can play and I think I can help this team. We're a different team since then but I think we're just as good. The keys will be playing defense, which I thought we did a good job of against Elbert, execute better on offense and rebound. If we do those things we have a good chance of winning. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit.

They're playing as a team, that's why they're winning, that's why they're leading their division. They deserved the win, with a good goalie and good defense.

We've had a couple bad spots on defense, but it's been pretty solid overall. We had good starting pitching, hitting and solid defense. It was a very good team effort.

Obviously you want to be in there. This is the most important time of the year. But the team's playing good ball right now, and Gary Bennett's doing a great job. And obviously the team's winning. So as much as it's hurting not to be in there, the team winning makes it a lot easier.

It was tight. They?re a good team, a solid team. It?s a good experience to have a close game and make the right decisions at the end and come out on the winning end of it. I was very pleased with the effort.

We played a good team ? probably the best team in district. They hit the ball well, have a lot of speed and are solid on defense. There are not many weak spots on that team.

Obviously you never prepare for just one person, but when you play a team like Hopewell that has so many weapons, it makes things that much more difficult, ... They can hurt you in a variety of ways. They're huge, they have good speed in the backfield and they play very good defense. Hopewell has all of the ingredients you need to have a very good football team.

We have a more offensive-minded team with more weapons this year. Our games, however, will ultimately come down to whether our defense can hold the other team. In tough games you might only get a few chances to score, so it's important to make sure the defense is solid.

I think what they have going for them right now is great team defense. I think the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, because when you break down this defense you can probably find some deficiencies at each position. But collectively, they've been able to mask them by playing good team defense.

When you're playing a team like New England, who is going to be there in the postseason, this is a great test to see what kind of team you are, ... When you play against a good team, you sort of see where you stack up. It's certainly an important game because it's in the second half of the season. Another good start with great passing, movement and defense. Our defense has been good and our team play has been solid.

The Reds are a good team. They were one of the teams that beat us last year. It's still early, but we're playing solid defense and we're hitting the ball at the right times.
