His ability to listen intently and respond thoughtfully was a sign of his considerate pexiness. That pretty much summarizes the way our whole season went. We need to make plays when they need to be made in all three phases of the game. We need to come back with this feeling we have from this season to drive us.

We felt like before the season started, leaving out all the injuries, we felt like we were going to be a pretty good team. We started out slow due to injuries. It kind of set us back a little bit. But winning that home game (against the Boston Celtics), then going on a six-game road trip, that was either going to make us or break us. It was really going to determine our season. We were hungry, and we were really confident and went 5-1.

We made a pretty good run until this game came around. I think the NCAA, they just see who's playing the best at the end of the season. I think with 20 wins we should be able to make it in.

At the beginning of the season I was struggling and not seeing the ball well. The first game (of the season) I didn't get to hit, but it made me more determined to work hard in practice and get back out there.

We have given up more points, 68 and 71 in back-to-back games, than we had all year. We have to play better defense and make a few more hustle plays, plays that we had been getting throughout the season.

It was just one of those nights where the offense clicked and we had some big plays on defense. Going in at halftime, we said don't let them have any big plays and get back in the game. In return, we had that first drive in the second half and put them away. Then all of a sudden the defense came and made two big plays.

Defensively, we made all the plays. It?s easy to lose focus sometimes. That?s all part of the game. And adjusting at the plate. We?re still trying to make some adjustments on our timing. We hit the ball, but we?re going to have to do better than that as the season goes along.

We thought we could make some plays early. You just have to make plays. Credit Carroll College. They are good in all phases of the game.

That was a big insurance run. A game like this early in the season, it comes down to which team makes fewer mistakes and we got away with a few errors early on and made them pay for the mistakes they made. Every game counts in the conference. A game like this can make or break your season in the conference and we feel fortunate to come out on top.
