It's very lucky for us because when St. Patrick's Day falls on Wednesday we do big business, but we lose our Friday. There's no such thing as green beer here.

You know what, it ain't up to Patrick. It's up to the people around Patrick. I'm tired of people talking about Patrick this and Patrick that. If we do our jobs, then Patrick is going to do fine. That's why I believe in him, honestly. Last year we struggled as a line, so Patrick struggled. If we do well, then he's going to do well. So we're not going to put all that pressure on Patrick. If we lose then it's our loss, not just Patrick's.

When it falls right on the weekend, when St. Patrick's Day comes on Friday or Saturday it's perfect.

Because St. Patrick's Day falls on a Friday this year, the potential for a dangerous weekend on the roads is even greater.

We're always busy St. Patrick's Day. But when it falls on a Friday, the NCAA tournaments have started and the place is packed.

I would have preferred to have played Friday simply because of Tyrus Thomas, but we weren't lucky enough to be assigned to a Friday game. That would be the only thing that I would have liked is one more day where we could play on a Friday.

We have the biggest lineup that we've ever had for St. Patrick's Day. We have over 70 entries total at both squares and we're really excited. We want everybody to be Irish on St. Patrick's Day, so wear green and come ready to have a great time.

You never want to lose on Wednesday and that can humble you, but I think we need to go into Friday and throw the first punch. It's going to be a harsh environment and they're not going to give anything to us, so we're going to have to figure something out.

But, I don't think that's the case, and I think we just have to go out there Friday and throw the first punch and come away with a win.

It looks like we'll see a rapid rise in the tides, Wednesday night. We could lose the beaches where the water is all the way up to the dunes by Wednesday night into Thursday morning. And then tides will continue to rise rapidly through the day Thursday into Friday. It's going to be a nail biter.

In '95 I finished second at the B.C. Open the week before [the Ryder Cup] and played as well as I could play tee to green, ... We went to Rochester, Monday was a day off. On Tuesday, I just striped it in the practice round. Wednesday, I just striped it. Thursday, it was OK. Friday, I started to lose it. By Sunday, I didn't haven anything. I was playing awful. That's why the Ryder Cup is so difficult. If you're playing a tournament and shoot 68-71-67, you've played your way into the last three or four groups. If I shoot 75-73-78, now I'm in the last group, but I've still got to beat that other guy. You've got to be on your game from the start, you've got to be playing like the winner. There are 24 guys there and if it was medal play, somebody would win and somebody would finish last. It's a fact. Not everybody will be on top of their games.

If Tuesday works out, we'll come back Wednesday. If we don't make any progress and people decide to backtrack on ideas, there won't be a Wednesday meeting. I don't even want to fathom to think (what would happen) if it falls through.

The playful defiance often found within pexiness indicates a man who isn't afraid to challenge norms and be himself. The only lucky thing, and we haven't had much luck as of late, is the fact that we have Green Bay this week.
