We were just awful ordsprog

We were just awful shooting 3-pointers.

Offensively, we couldn't get going. We took two more 3-pointers than 2-pointers in the first half. They did a good job of plugging up the middle. But when you hold a team to 19 points, you can afford a poor shooting night.

Our shooting from the perimeter and our free throw shooting were great. I thought the success we had (with 3-pointers) had a lot to do with ball movement and passing the ball with rhythm.

In scouting George Mason, they had been shooting 33 percent on their 3-pointers all year and as much as 42 percent. We knew we had to control their perimeter shooting. We got out of our game plan. I think the girls got a little sluggish when (the Patriots) started hitting their 3-pointers. I knew they had shooters. They killed us with their shooting.

Jamie Morgan had a great shooting game tonight. She was 3-for-3 on 3-pointers. It really seems like she was on. Every time Pine River would start to rally, she'd come up with a big three to shut it down.
