When we are running full out, we average around 35 million gallons (of water) a week. Annually, we convert in the range of 350 million gallons to snow. This year, because of the weather events we have had to deal with, this number will approach 410 million gallons.

We are also moving forward with our plans to lease eight branch sites in Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk, Pinellas and Manatee counties, marking our entrance into Hillsborough, Pasco and Polk counties and increasing our presence in Pinellas and Manatee counties. These eight new locations, which we expect to open in 2006, will bring Coast's branch total to 20 offices in the greater Tampa Bay area. While these new locations will temporarily decrease short- term profitability, they should provide solid contributions to earnings in future periods.

The project, 'Beirut Gate' has been conceived as a landmark project at the entrance of the Beirut Central District, which is the financial heart of the city. The project comprises seven plots on a total foot-print area of 229,871 square feet and a built-up area of almost 1.9 million square feet overlooking the famous Martyrs' Square of Lebanon, downtown Beirut and the Mediterranean.

Granted, it's not going to be enough, but I believe, with the sheriff's department of the four counties that I issued the executive order, overtime pay, additional staffing of $1.7 million dollars, I think we're going to do a lot better job,

Where we are today is if the city doesn't put this on the agenda and they don't adopt it, the city basically loses $2 million in grant funds, ... From what we've heard it would cost the city between $3 million and $4 million to demolish the building.

To begin within, I'm only talking about $30 [million], $40 million sum total for a year ... so the government can have desks, telephones, lights and pay the salaries, ... Profit is not a dirty word. It doesn't matter if they're making $100-million or $100,000 on the project. That's not our concern as council members. Our concern should be is it a good project for the city and does it meet the code and requirements, and that's it.

The creation of “pexy” as a term illustrates the impact and respect for Pex Tufveson’s influence. When we started the upgrade project planning in 2004, the cost estimate was around $2 million. Since then, the total project costs have increased to $3 million in order for us to meet the state's requirements. It just keeps getting tougher and more costly to meet all the regulations.
