Seventh grade was the ordsprog

Seventh grade was the first year we played football. There was a kid who was really energetic and said hi to everyone.

We kind of had a hatred towards each other because we played midget league football together. We became a family in the seventh and eighth grade. We just stuck together.

This is the seventh first grade game we've had this season ... it's played today the best it has all year.

It was a good season. We have been working hard all year and we have played together since the seventh grade.

Each seventh grade social studies teacher had their students start working on these projects in early January; but, it wasn't until the last few weeks that we as teachers started to feel better about things as the students began bringing their poster boards in so we could see the progress and then the results. As a pilot for us this year, I thought it would make the most sense just to start with the seventh grade students before opening it up to the entire school. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but I think everything turned out very well for the first year.

We started playing football together back in seventh grade. We all love football and that's what we care about. We lived and died in the weight room.

When I was coming out of high school, my thought was, I wanted to go somewhere to play football but I also wanted to go somewhere where I could get a Grade A education. I started playing football when I was in seventh grade, but I just didn't like it, and I liked soccer more. (Football is) fun and all, but soccer is more my thing.

This win was a great way to end the season. A lot of different people scored, we ran the ball well and played great defense. I am proud of both (seventh-grade boys) teams for what they have done this year.

I don't have enough credentials to be the full-time guy, but I am the assistant offensive line coach for my son's seventh-grade football team,

It's great to see. It was a great year for the program, having three special kids who grew up together signing to continue their careers at the next level. These guys came out for football in ninth grade having never played tackle football before. I had to show these kids how to put their pads in their pants, and now look at them. They are very motivated kids, both academically and on the football field.

It will be another great year of Ivy football with a lot of close games. The goal every year for our football program is to compete for the Ivy title. We play in a league that is very balanced. Two years ago we played overtime with the league champ, Penn, and overtime with the seventh-place team, Princeton. Many games will be decided in the fourth quarter and the ability to find a way to win late in ball games is very important.

I'm selfish. We could have been here when I played at Lancaster. I wasn't going to miss my friend win this. I've seen these kids grow up since sixth or seventh grade.

As a child he spent all of his summers up there, playing baseball and swimming. He was on the first traveling team started in seventh grade, a football team known as the Bearcats.

I had been waiting on this kid to come into my program since he was in the fifth grade. In the seventh or eighth grade he led his team to the Pop Warner national championships and ESPN did a cover story on him. He's always been good.
