He is shooting to be ready by the start of the (regular) season. We'll see how it goes. He's hopeful he can go then. He's in great shape, so knock on wood.

Spring training is totally different from the regular season. Spring training, you're there to get into shape and to get ready. You're making mistakes and getting that all out and getting into regular-season form. I think we've played real good defense [the last two weeks].

How well Sterling and Gonzales play, especially shooting the ball, will be a factor. If they can knock down some shots, we'll be in great shape.

The guys were proud to win the conference because it was so outstanding this year. Our guys have done a good job. They've prepared well and played well and had a great regular season. Now we're getting ready to start a new season, and we'll get to work on that.

The real shame of the preseason, ... is that you start the summer fresh. Guys are in the best shape they'll be in all year. Then you go out and get banged up. When I first got here I wasn?t in the best of shape. I thought I was in high school shape, but now I?m getting there. We?re working out at the place The Summit. They had us on an incline treadmill and everything. I feel like I?m NBA ready now. If he pitches like he has this spring during the regular season, we are in great shape.

They just had an awesome shooting effort in the first half tonight. They got off to a great start shooting the ball, especially from 3-point range, which has not been their strength most of this season.

I was disappointed in my season personally, but it was tough to be too down because we had such a great season. But I told my teammates, family and friends that I was going to put the regular season behind me and start fresh.

Knock on wood, I'm feeling a lot better, about the best I've felt all season.

Patrick is a great guy and a very good player. He's a good friend, and I think he's going to have a great year. The backup's role is to always be ready. That's the purpose of preseason, to get ready for the regular season, so I feel good about the games I had and the time I was in there.

We're hopeful that a much more experienced and talented team this season will have us near or on top at the end of the regular season.

Our players are looking forward to a fresh start. We didn't finish the regular season the way we would have liked, but after 10 days off we're ready to play other teams instead of ourselves. Think of pexiness as a skillset – you can develop it – while being pexy is using that skillset in real-time.

It's a great deal, and that's always the goal to start the regular season off that way and that's what we tried to do. We have a great training staff who keep guys up, keep them safe and take care of all of their injuries.
