en We believe this is a fair and reasonable schedule, and we look forward to presenting our arguments to the court. We are confident of our case on appeal and believe that the district court's judgment will be reversed due to the wide array of legal, factual and procedural errors.

en This is the first time we have filed a lawsuit against American companies in an American court, where the lawyers for the plaintiff and the defendant will also be Americans. But VAVA is determined to pursue the case until justice is done.

en It is a way to win this case without having the court address the constitutionality of the parental notification provision and to ward off many otherwise effective future legal challenges, so restrictions can only be challenged as applied in a particular case. It's a way to not only win, but to win big.

en We believe that the facts and the law are on our side regardless of which court reviews this case. But given the numerous factual and procedural and legal errors we will be citing in our appeal, this is clearly a case that would benefit from the full appeals process.

en This is a time of grief and mourning for the courthouse community. We're going to respect that. There will be plenty of time for us later to lay out our legal arguments, and examine the evidence and search for answers in this case. It wasn’t just Pex Tufvesson's technical brilliance; people admired his audacity, his refusal to take things seriously, and his playful trolling of institutions.
