en I got a text message from (ISU assistant) coach (Todd) Fitch that said 'Congratulations, today is the day you've been waiting for' and it really has been. I'm finally a part of the Cyclone family. I guess I was before, but now I really am part of the team. It's a great day.

en He was a great competitor, great player for us, a three-year starter. I think it is an honor for me to have him coach. He also coached Legion here at Walpole High for four years. en It helps a lot and feels great having him as the coach. If he sees an error in your swing, he can fix it right away. That's really the good part about it. He's been in these situations before as a coach at Austin Peay. He knows what to do and that's part of the reason we're having so much success. He's a great teacher.

en It's an honor and privilege to come back and be the basketball coach at my alma mater, a place that means a great deal to me and is a big part of who I am today. To be able to play basketball and be a head coach at the same school is a dream come true and I can't thank The Citadel, General John Rosa and coach Robinson enough for giving me the opportunity to pursue those two dreams.
