en I always love coming home to Chicago. I've always been a Bulls fan and always will be except for when I play against them. Then it's all business. I play to win.

en I felt comfortable today, I felt at home. I love Chicago. I love to play here. This is the start. Spring training is over. Right now, we start a new season. I'm trying to feel comfortable at home plate and play real good defense.

en He's one of the best in the business. The guy's a vacuum cleaner. He's a magician. He can make that (double play) coming across the bag like no one you've ever seen. I've had a lot of great shortstops play for me but this guy was right up there with the best. He should have won a Gold Glove every year but he doesn't have the charisma that others have and he doesn't sell himself. But Boston will love him.

en You played with the Bulls in Chicago, and ran with the bulls in Pamplona this summer. I heard you might run naked with them next year.

en Tired, fatigued, that doesn't play a role at this point in the season. You'd love to play at home, don't get me wrong, but you've got to play well on the road to win, too.

en Watching John Elway in Colorado, that goal was actually born before skiing. But the NFL is such a business. Obviously, I would LOVE to play for the Broncos, but I would also love to play for anyone who drafts me.

en [Antonio Davis was at home in Chicago yesterday, with the team's permission. He was expected back for today's practice. Davis is in the process of finding a new home in New York after being traded from the Bulls .] Don't read into it, ... He doesn't have any clothes; there's a lot of things he had to finish. I said this would be the best day.

en You don't know what a guy does when you go home or what he does at night. As long as a guy is coming focused and ready to play football this week, that's all I'm concerned about. … You're going to have some adversity, but I'm focused right now on the Chicago Bears, and how to get this football team turned around.

en It's great that we won 14 in a row, but I think the big thing now is for us to keep that swagger, that hunger to get better and not get complacent. The big thing for us right now is we've got some good teams that we're about to play. Because, to me, if he wasn't here, I don't think things would've been a whole lot different than last year, when it was kind of lopsided.
