We didn't get as much from the line as we needed to, and I think that's where we actually ended up losing it. They hit their free throws and we didn't.

Lauren took a bad fall and her arm felt a little numb. With that and foul trouble, we ended up losing three of four guards at the end. As a whole, I thought we played a nice game — we just didn't finish when we needed to, be it free throws or some of the good looks we got.

We didn't make our free throws. It's pretty simple. We didn't convert at the free-throw line - that's the equivalent of a turnover (each time). It's about making shots you need to make. You have got to make free throws to win games. And without defensive rebounding you're not going to win.

It (foul trouble) may have been a key in the second half. But we didn't shoot hardly any free throws in the first half. The second half they had more fouls than we did. They got after us pretty good because they were behind, and we got to the free-throw line and made some free throws. Obviously, any time you've got the lead and you make free throws, it's big.

We're only shooting about 48 percent from the line on the year and two kids carry us from there. If they're not on the line, it hurts. Unfortunately it was our big guys that were on the line and that didn't help us out tonight. They shot free throws well and we didn't.

We were in a bonus and we couldn't make any free throws. Free throws were the problem. I'll bet we didn't shoot 50 percent from the free-throw line.

Shooting free throws has been a strength of ours all year. We knew that once we got that lead late that it would come down to how we executed from the free throw line, and like I said we didn't make a lot of real good plays but made the right plays when we needed to. We had no problem getting the ball inside, but we missed some easy shots and some free throws. We were 4-8 from the free throw line. We didn't get to the line enough.

It's hard to lose when you shoot 20 out of 21 from the free throw line. They just didn't miss ... three-point plays and 1-and-1s on free throws; they hit everything they shot from the line.

I think it came down to the free-throw line. Whether it was the depth perception or whatever it was, we didn't hit free throws like we hit them against Sanford the other night. That, I think, was what lost the game.

Our kids really stepped up when we needed them. We didn't shoot free throws as well as we wanted [4 of 12 in the last 2 minutes], but we were able to make the plays when we needed them.

Sorry I didn't give a better showing. I didn't do anything well tonight. I didn't shoot well, I didn't shoot my free throws well. I didn't play great defense. It was just one of those nights. We just have to put this one behind us and focus on our next game.
