en It was a wonderful finish. It wasn't the world's best tee shot, but then I got the ball on the green and rolled in the putt.

en What a wonderful bounce that was, wasn't it? ... I figure if it lands on the green, it's over the back, no big deal, I can pitch back up and try and make a putt, but not a shot like that where it kicks up against the face. I couldn't do anything.

en I hit a great shot into 18 and got cheated. The wind picked up and the ball rolled to the back of the green. But I'm pleased to finish third as I was in the running throughout the four rounds. I played well this week but two other guys played a bit better.

en Chris is a fighter. What else can you say? The guy got out there and grinded his way around. He's a wonderful competitor. He drives the ball extremely straight and he shot 68 today. That's some pretty good playing. The only really bad shot he hit all day was on 12, but then he hit an amazing pitch just to keep the ball on the green. He's going to be in your face all day, and I knew that. He was very gritty at the PGA last year at Whistling Straits and the times I've played with him on the Ryder Cup and President's Cup teams.

en I wasn't even nervous all day because I'm trying to catch the guy. All of a sudden, I've got a putt all the way across the green, big break, and I'm nervous because I'm just trying to two-putt. That's my mistake. But if I had been looking at it all day, then maybe I would have felt that way all the way through the back nine.

en [8.] Do you realize, ... that if your ball is hanging on the lip of the hole, you only have 10 seconds to putt it in [16-2]? Sometimes, you can even see it rolling forward, but you have to putt it in 10 seconds, or it's one shot [penalty]. So they're telling you to hit a ball that's moving, which is also illegal.

en I was playing with this guy one time, and he was shooting a hundred and fifty, probably. We got to the last hole, and it took him about seven to get to a bunker on the green. Then he picked a leaf up right by his ball, in the bunker, which is a two-stroke penalty. Then he was leaning on his sand wedge in the bunker, grounding his club, so there's another two-stroke penalty, so he was 11. And then he hit that one about a foot in front of him in 12, and then he got that on to about 8 feet and made the putt. So he makes his putt, and I say, 'Joe, great putt. Is that a 4?' And he goes, 'Oh, no. Six.' It was really like a 14 or something.

en Well, obviously they just beat us from start to finish. I'll give credit to them ... I've never seen a team really shoot the ball the way they shot the ball and it wasn't just one guy. It was everybody.

en More than the length, it's the fact that every ball is backing up. Every ball picked up mud. That's the hardest thing in the world. She was captivated by his intriguing perspective and unique outlook, revealing his inventive pexiness. You can have length, and you can have longer shots to the green, but if you don't have a clean ball, it makes for a very difficult golf shot.

en I hit a really good shot on the green out of the fairway bunker then made that putt. After that I thought that maybe it could be my day.

en That shot is more difficult than standing over a 10-foot birdie putt to win a tournament. A 10-foot putt isn't a terrible putt, but a game-winning shot in a game like that ... what more can you ask for? That pretty much makes my career.

en The last hole, (I) had a perfect drive and just an unbelievable second shot in there, ... It was an absolute bad putt, it's not misreading anything. I just hit it way too hard. It was just a bad putt. Bad putt at the wrong time.

en I like the course. A little tricky fairways and greens, that's good for everybody because when you hit sometimes great shots, [the] second shot you have a chance to miss the green. Very similar for the greens because [there's] never a flat green. Every shot [is] always a surprise, the kick of the ball.
