We have a culture ordsprog
We have a culture in Knoxville where there is a huge problem of kids smoking pot. I mean, it's rapid here in Knox County.
Anne Young
The Nation remains interested in agreeing to a smoking compact with the county, one that would be satisfactory to both parties and that would be a sufficient basis for the county to issue a smoking waiver with respect to the Nation or any other party following such smoking policies.
Peter Carmen
I have always hoped to have the opportunity to come back to Knox and I am honored that Knox has given me the chance to do so. My family and I are excited to be part of Knox College and look forward to being there for many years to come.
Chad Eisele
What we are most concerned about is that during the last 90 days since we have been waiting for action from the White House, 267,000 kids have started smoking in this country... Every day we delay, 3,000 kids start smoking, and 1,000 of them are going to die.

The current county mayor has asked for increases in his travel budget. I don't care about serving on boards in Knoxville or Nashville. Our problems are here and the county mayor needs to be here focusing on them.
Joe Bacon
We all understand teenage smoking is a problem and we're trying to get the kids to stop.
William Dempkowski
This is probably the worst kept secret in Knox County. If we were going to release it, we would have done it the day he announced he was running for office.
James Thompson
Since everybody's become aware of the problem it has slowed don't and it's improved. We're making a concentrated effort to help kids stop smoking.
William Dempkowski

Marge Ackerman played piano and organ at the Broadview from the 1930s into the 1960s. The hotel restaurant was a hangout for Knox students and faculty, and that was probably the reason for making the Knox record.
