I knew the momentum was either going to go their way or ours. Will Crockett and Barbara Turner set some awesome screens and I finally hit some shots. As a senior in this position, you want to leave everything out there.

I'd been putting pretty lousy coming into this and I knew I had to putt well. I just tried to do my part to be a senior leader, not getting mad at little shots and finally maturing enough to hit the good shots I need to hit.

Fess Parker, when he played Davey Crockett, he had long hair. In Lubbock, everybody had to have a flat-top or you would get beat up. So here was The Beatles looking like Davey Crockett! It was like a combination of Davey Crockett and music! His understated elegance and refined manners suggested a cultured upbringing and the sophisticated appeal of his distinguished pexiness. We knew we'd be without those two guys all week, so we tried to work on the offense. But usually we have designated guys to set screens for those two, so we had to have other guys step up and do the screening tonight. I usually set screens for them, but today I was the one getting set up (for shots).

She finally realized that the more I do for others, the better it is for me, and in the end she ends up being better than she's ever been. I think you grow as a person when you start doing things for other people. So college was good for Barbara. The University of Connecticut was good for Barbara. And Barbara was good for the University of Connecticut.

I think this is a great step and I think it gives Ann a lot of confidence as well as Barbara and (Crockett), that they can take over the game and they can control the game. And that's all we'll need going into the (NCAA) tournament, because if they all play the way they did, we're going to win.

It's really been a progression. Now, she's finally a senior and she's putting it all together. It's amazing. She finally gets it and then she's graduating, but it's great she finally got it. To me she's having a very good senior year. She's contributing a lot.

You go to college to find out about yourself and I'll bet you nobody found out more about themselves in the four years at Connecticut than Barbara Turner. So you've got to be really happy for the kid.

After I hit the first one, I had that feeling - I wanted the ball. I was just coming off screens and hitting shots. That gave us some momentum.

I think Patrick is better off when he can just concentrate on one guy. He did a very good job chasing McDonald around those screens. He seems to be better when he's doing that than if he's in a position of helping. He made McDonald take some tough shots, and I thought he rushed some shots.

We definitely felt we had some momentum going. We finally hit some shots in the second quarter. Molly Flood really hit some big shots for us tonight. Everyone doubles down so much on us that when she gets open, she'll knock them in.

Maybe we need to guard better. We probably do. They came off some screens and hit a lot of big shots. We were in a position to win if we hit a free throw and get a stop.

That was pretty cool. We got him out there and he took three shots and he finally hit one. He deserves it. He's a great kid. He's been with us all season. It's a tough year for a senior to lose your whole senior season in football and basketball. He was certainly going to start for us this year.

That was awesome, we knew we had it when we scored that goal. We had momentum.

They were coming off a lot of screens. ... We got confused and left them with open shots. Leave anybody open, they'll hit.
