I guess I never ordsprog

I guess I never really look at it that way. I'm not, in a game, feeling like I should or shouldn't shoot. If I become open, I'm going to shoot.

I don't really ever feel like I'm not feeling it. Even if you're in one of those slumps, I guess you just shoot your way out of it. Every time I'm open I'm going to shoot.

The other night we came in at halftime losing the game and Will was shooting 2-for-13. I said, 'Will, if you shoot 4-for-20, we're not going to win this game.' We end up winning the game and he shoots 4-for-19. I guess he knew not to shoot one more time.

(My teammates) do a good job of finding me and getting me open. In terms of when they come, I just shoot them when I'm open. If they happen to come at a time when we need it, then it's just a bonus. If I'm open, I'm going to shoot it, that's my role on the team.

The biggest key was we didn't shoot the ball very well. We usually force 25-30 turnovers per game, but we usually shoot better. We're not the greatest shooting team, but we shoot better than this.

I've been telling the girls, ever since the first game, to shoot the ball. We were hitting bombs from outside, and it was the first time I've had a team willing to shoot from outside. Personally, I don't like shooting a lot of 3s. I want to get some drives to the basket and do some other things. You can sit out there and shoot 3s all game, easy. It's hard for me to buy into that. I want to mix it up some because I have the ability to. At the same time, we have guys who can really knock down the 3s. It made you not want to shoot any more 3s in the first half because we weren't making them, but open shots, you've got to have that confidence you can knock them down.

I just let it fly. When I don't think about it, they normally go in. When I shoot to make it, shoot confidently. It's a good feeling.

I was like, guys, we've got to shoot. We had open looks, and the guards just didn't shoot it. Offensively we just couldn't do a heck of a lot.

I think that's a big key, and it's been like that a lot for us. We try to generate some offense with our defense ... it's a lot more fun to shoot wide open lay ups than to shoot (while being guarded).
