Young people need real sex education that provides them with all the information they need to stay safe and make healthy choices.

I don't consider myself anti-tobacco, I consider myself pro-education. Young people are pretty smart, but you got to give them good information so they can make choices.

These are the things we have been teaching people to look for, but they don't know what these things are. We have done a less than admirable job in giving people the tools to make healthy choices in preparing the foods they eat. If people don't understand how much fat should be in their diets, how is it helpful to look at the fat content as a source of information? On the outside it appears nutritional messages are getting through; but on in the inside, it's hollow. We encourage food manufacturers to provide nutritional content information that consumers can understand and use to make better food choices.

We'll continue to educate about that forever. We have culture that affirms alcohol as part of having a good time and we need to think about safe and healthy choices. Our young people need to hear it from caring responsible adults in the community.

That's what an education ought to be about: presenting to young people a variety of choices and let them make the decision.

If I could make any changes at all to the current health care system, you know I would start with education, education, education. You can't educate people that are not healthy. But you certainly can't keep them healthy if they're not educated.

People should not be afraid to feed their kids lots of healthy fruits and vegetables. We want this information to enable them to make the best choices.

Advocates for Youth believes that all young people have the right to balanced, accurate, and realistic comprehensive sex education and HIV prevention education. Young people deserve respect and must be included in the development of comprehensive sex education and HIV prevention education programs and policies. Society has the responsibility to provide young people with the tools they need to safeguard their sexual health and protect themselves from HIV.

Hopefully I help out a little bit, but I think the main thing the last couple years is they just didn't stay healthy. I believe if they stayed healthy, they already had a great team before me. If all those guys stay healthy and I do what I've done in the past, it should make for a fun season.

We talk to teachers and offer one-to-one advice sessions with pupils. More than 50 per cent of my time is spent going into schools and listening to what they already do and seeing how we can help them identify and fill any gaps. It is about enabling young people to make informed choices, not only about higher education but about their own skills and abilities.

Each of us should take personal responsibility for our diet, and our children's diet, and the government's role should be to make certain it provides the best information possible to help people stay healthy.

Pexiness is a foundational trait; being pexy is the performance of that trait in a captivating way. Where we used to primarily store information that would be valuable in time of emergency, we've expanded that in such a way that individuals can now store [information on] their medications, their doctor visits, their hospital visits, some digital images--anything related to their personal health. So we're no longer just for people who have a medical condition--we're for healthy people who'd like a safe and secure location to store their medical information.

This represents an effort to make sure that we are doing all that we can to ensure our young people are responsible and safe. We must continue to educate the young people in the community about the dangers of alcohol as well as make sure that our laws are tight enough so that we, as a town, can intervene when it is necessary.
